The end of an era for me.
These brass linotype pieces were such an inspiration for me. Rescued from another jewelry designer in Vancouver BC from being melted into scrap. When Ho Sun Hing printers closed in 2014 these pieces lost their usefulness. Until they were up-cycled as a unique pendant. Today at the Spring Makers Market there are only 4 pieces left. Once they are gone, that’s it.
So sad to see part of the PNW Chinese Newspaper history go away.
